Veterinary Surgeon - Full time, or part time considered

We are an Independent, RCVS Accredited small animal surgery with a reputation for outstanding clinical work and superior client care seeking an experienced and enthusiastic vet to join our growing practice. The practice is situated in leafy Banstead, Surrey – a short distance from London to the North and Brighton to the South. Great outdoor opportunities – hiking, horse riding, water sports, cycling – and with time to pursue a hobby! The successful candidate will join an excellent team of staff including an Internal Medicine specialist (ACVIM), a surgery certificate holder, general practitioners and experienced RVNs, working in modern well-equipped facilities achieving high clinical standards. Digital x-ray, ultrasound, laparoscopy, endoscopy, in-house lab, isolation ward, separate cat and dog waiting areas, consult rooms, prep rooms, theatres and wards – try not to get lost! We are looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate and motivated vet who works well as part of a team. Excellent communication skills are essential. Ideally the candidate would have sufficient experience to be confident when consulting or performing basic soft-tissue surgery. Work life balance is important to us, so our full-time vets and nurses work a 4-day week and share a one weekend in 4 rota. No OOH. 20-minute consults as routine.
